It is quite an informal affair since the party guests are dressed in casual clothes, e.g. the boy in the background (on the left) who is wearing glasses is wearing a red hoodie. The boy and girl in the foreground are having a conversation. The boy is saying that their junior high school days are over and asking the girl whether she has many special memories. She replies that she remembers meeting him and other friends in Grade 7. What do you remember? 1b. To help Ss recognize the target language in natural speech. Using a chart to take notes, then play the recording. 1c. To help Ss use the target language in natural speech. Memory and experience Ask Ss about the difference between an experience and a memory. An experience is something that has actually happened to you or the skill or knowledge you gain by doing, regardless whether you have seen it or done it.
