yes, it is definitely right that programming is a hard work because of its special characteristics---complicated, time-wasted, logical. to make a program needs our continual patient and confidence, and we should accept failure again and again in most cases. but once you go into further understanding of computer programs, you will be surprised at the programs’ wander. in detail, through programming a heap of date or a computing model can be easily solved we expected, such as a number wanted, or the model’s parameters. the magical power of program appeals to all the programmers, certainly including me.
it is of great convenience for us to simplify or model our complex questions by programming. furthermore, studying and using programs can enforce us to form our ability of analyzing and logic. computer language has its regular grammar. how to organize the language into a reasonable calculating method in a high efficiency like speaking easy-understanding and breath-saving words, is an awful challenge for us, and it will be very funny.
now, software is more and more important in our life, therefore programmer becomes a popular profession, which is one urgent need in the society. for our country, it’s very important to ensure our national security from others, such as japan. enhancing military strength makes us pay more attention to the informationalized war that attached intensely to the fundamental function of program and software. it is truth that china has a huge population of 1.4 billion, which means messy things from all the people every day. also, to govern the society orderly all benefit from information composed by programs.
take a more closer example, in the classroom, we are graduate students of engineering, and will be occupied in researching and designing work. thus, not only is programming our tool in study, but also become a weapon that promoting science and technology and producing invention and innovation.

first, let us know about the origin of christmas. the name christmas is short for christ’s mass. a mass is a kind of church service. christmas is a religious festival. it is the day we celebrate as the birthday of jesus. there are special christmas services in christian churches all over the world. but many of the festivities of christmas do not have anything to do with religion. exchanging gifts and sending christmas cards are the modern ways of celebrating the christmas in the world.
now, christmas has been very popular in china, especially among the young people. global integration not only promotes the international business trade, but also affects the people's traditions and customs of different countries and regions. just as the american people have accepted the gloable food culture, chinese young generation are also absorbing the western culture, for example christmas. in addition, valentine's day, thanksgiving day and fast food, are also very popular.
in my opinion, there mainly are two reasons to expain that why foreign festivals are becoming more and more popular in china. for one thing, each festival is full of strong cultural color. for another thing, these festivals are filled with human interest.
in addition, american fast food culture has the same situation with western festivals. fast food is very popular in china. people like to eat fast food, especially children and youngsters. fast food means restaurants make food quick and people eat food by their fingers. now, it is permeating to traditional chinese culture. nowadays we can see a lot of fast-food shops in china like kfc and mcdonald and so on. and it is so popular that you even cannot find a seat to sit down to eat what you bought at lunch time. in china almost everyone likes eat fast-food for its good taste and we regard the shop as the place we can talk with our friends how the things stand. there are some reasons for its popularity. firstly, there are a variety of fast-food that we can choose what we like. there are hamburgers and pizza. secondly, recently an increasing number of people concentrate more on health than taste. and the fast-food in china is not like those in foreign countries. it adds lots of nutrition and several useful things into the fast-food. not only for it, but also for its reasonable price and delicious taste. thirdly, it can save much time so that you can spend this time shopping. what’s more, we can taste all kinds of food from different parts of the world with soft music and can do homework with our classmates.
everything needs to adjust to the society with the changes of time and space, and culture makes no exception. especially when it compromises into another culture, the origin will also change. as mentioned above, the chinese food sold in the united states,

it gave me a big heart quake by its grand view and its lively characters. by the time maximus whispers his final words, assuring lucilla that lucius is safe, i'm moved by honor and justice. by the time juba is reverently burying maximus's totems of his wife and son, i'm. when i watched
gladiator, i'm struck by the quiet, ardent, even reverent heart at its core, one that beats for the love of family. it's a heart that beats true that makes gladiator so rousing.
“be brave, my friend; be strong, my friend; stick to your belief, my friend; stand to your principles, my friend”——just as he did. he, the former general of rome, the slaver later, and the gladiator dying for his dreams at last, implying a kind of strength that can make us always hold us heads up, never give up.
maximus, general of the armies of the north, wants nothing more than to go home to his spanish farm, to his wife and young son, after too many years fighting for the glory of the roman empire. he is loved by marcus aurelius, the aging emperor, who wishes maximus be his successor. this arouses his son commodus' anger when he heard about it. the power-hungry commodus kills his father and orders that maximus and his family should be executed. maximus manages to escape his assassination, and races home only to find that he was too late to save his family.
after burying them, maximus is found unconscious by slave traders and forced to fight for his life as a gladiator in arena. during this time, he gains notoriety through his impressive victories as a gladiator, ultimately reaching the historic roman colosseum. in his first event, he skillfully leads a band of gladiators to defeat an opposing force of chariots and archers, earning the crowd's praise through his heroics.
maximus later survives when he is forced into a match against tigris of gaul, rome's only undefeated gladiator. maximus avoids being killed by tigers released into the arena, which furthers commodus' frustration, as it seems he cannot kill maximus or stop his ascending popularity.
now desperate to have maximus killed, commodus arranges a duel with him in the arena. unknown to the crowd, commodus stabs maximus before they enter the arena.
with his dying words maximus carries out marcus ' commands, calling for the slaves to be freed, and power in rome to be transferred to the senate. lucilla reiterates his wishes, reminding
everyone that he was a soldier of rome and that his memory should be honored.
he lost his beloved wife and cute boy; he lost his authorities, but he won his glories, he won his battles, he won the respect forever, and he won himself.
powerful and loving family bonds provide the strength maximus needs to triumph here -- bonds between himself and his murdered wife and child, himself and the very concept of rome.
